Haitian Disaster Relief Update

There are just one day left to participate in Stampin′ Up!’s Haitian relief efforts! Until February 28, 2010, Stampin′ Up! is setting aside $2 from the sale of select stamp sets to be donated to the American Red Cross’ Haiti Relief and Development Fund. Papercrafts Inspiration

Last week, I received my latest issue of Papercrafts Magazine. Mom and I were together on Friday and using the color challenge of Kraft, Green Galore, Brilliant Blue and Barely Banana, we used the card made by Annabelle O'Malley as our inspiration. My card is on the top and Mom's is on the bottom. Just a note, Mom changed her color to Gable Green.

I used my petal die to make the heart to add to my cookie package. The glassine bags that are in the Occasions Mini are wonderful for that sweet treat. In addition to Valentine's Day, I will be using these cute bags for Easter treats as well.

A Simple Valentine

A sweet Valentine for one of my daughters. Before you say, "Whoa there, Chris! You have two daughters." I want to say that I gave my other daughter a card with something similar and forgot to take a picture of it. Sorry!

Valentine Card For My Son

Well! With the snow that we had yesterday, I was able to hole up in my studio and get some stamping done. The forecast was for 12 inches of snow, but the storm didn't dump nearly as much as that. I am loving this set. Here is a Valentine's card for my son, who goes to school in Florida.

Valentine's Day must be on the way. I eat hard boiled eggs most mornings for protein, however, when I cooked this one and opened it, WOW!, was I surprised. Sometimes, you just gotta stop and smile at the little things in life....

Stamping With Family

Playing around in my studio over the weekend, I came up with a wonderful card that can easily be adapted to many occasions. We had family members over on Sunday and we went into my studio to make a couple of cards. The Love You Much sentiment works great for anniversary, Valentine's Day and when changed out with birthday, makes a great feminine birthday card.

One sentiment from Whimsical Words in our Sale A Bration catalog is Your never more than a thought away. Mom made two cards with that sentiment. One to give to her sister, who lives clear across the country in Oregon. The other card is earmarked for a long time next door neighbor who is undergoing her second bout with cancer.

I think both Whimsical Words and Well Scripted are quite versatile. The heart that is punched is from the Occasions Mini. The background layer is our new Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder.

Where Does Time Go?

I have been super busy planning workshops, club and classes for the coming months. While I do not like the cold weather, it gives me the opportunity to stay in and do some planning.
This box and card set was super fun to make. The whole ensemble uses the new I {Heart} Heart stamp set in the Occasions Mini along with alot of new product. I just LOVE new product! Don't you?! As you can see from past samples, this stamp set is super cute!
