Medallion From Stella

A very dear demonstrator friend of mine in California had surgery on Monday. I sent her a card a week or so ago and I wanted to share with you the one she sent me. My thoughts are with you, Stella, as you recuperate.

Twin Boys-Congratulations

Sarah Klass was the inspiration for this card. Two longtime friends of our family's had twin boys a little over a week ago. This makes 5 kids for Rodney and Jenn.

Congratulations to everyone in the family.

A Flower For All Seasons

The other day I posted this card with All A Flutter from our Summer Mini Catalog. Today I used A Flower For All Seasons and Thank You from Thank You Kindly. This layout can be changed many times over with a different stamp set.

Birthday Block Swap

This was a swap I made and participated in with a group that I belong to.

Birthday Block from our Summer Mini Catalog was used, along with some retiring colors, Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry and Dusty Durango.

The base cardstock is Soft Suede and is not retiring.

Technique Geeks-Bargello Hello

Stripes lend themselves very easily to this technique. I used Tea Party (retiring) for a softer look. The stamp set is Hello Again.

This is one of the cards we made at our last Technique Geek class in June. I will be restarting them in September.

Birthday Builder Wheel

More builder wheels you say? Of course, I used So Many Stars, Birthday and Candle Crazy on this card.

I wheeled the Birthday separately over Kraft (renamed Crumb Cake) in black and cut out. Popping it up on Stampin' Up! Dimensionals gives it a little something extra.

On a different note, the small star punch is retiring. Get it while it lasts.

Builder Wheel Week

I've said it before and I am saying it again, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these builder wheels. The new Idea Book and Catalog even has some new ones in it. Bye, Bye, Summer Sun! Love those colors, too! But Daffodil Delight is delightful also.

Builder Wheels with Markers

What the Posy Party Builder Wheel is wonderful for is coloring in with your markers or blender pens.

I added a striped Old Olive grosgrain ribbon (which is retiring) and a punched Fancy Flower layered with our 13/8" circle and our Boho Blossom punched flower.

The colors are Perfect Plum, Certainly Celery, Pretty In Pink and Whisper White.
